This is the table maintenance window for all academic action records in SIS. There are four types of academic actions: Academic Action (AAC), Honors (HON), Milestones (MSN), and Holds (which are milestones numbered 9000+).

| Action ID | four-digit value, assigned within a given Action Type; values 9000+ are reserved for Hold records |
| Effective Date | date values entered here can be used to drive certain processes, e.g., official transcript display: HON codes (type + action id) with a 5/1/1900 date will display on an official transcript by default: Latin Honors will display with degrees awarded regardless of this date value (assuming that field is appropriately checked on the record) |
| End Date | leave blank |
| Description | name of a given action, honor, milestone, or hold; displayed in all caps |
| Title | same name as Description but displayed in mixed case; typically used with Honors to generate data for the Commencement Program; otherwise may be blank |
| Display in Degrees Awarded | when checked, this Academic Action will be displayed on an official transcript together with the degree information in the upper right hand corner of the first page of the document, unless overridden by a No value in the Display on Transcript field on that student’s record |
| Display in Honors | when checked, this Academic Action will be displayed on an official transcript in the Honors section at the end of the document, unless overridden by a No value in the Display on Transcript field on that student’s record |
