ERA Control is the name of an SISAdmin window that provides the control interface for participating divisions in the Electronic Registration Authorization system. New records for this window can be created with a rollforward script (See ERA Setup page in Confluence).
- Enter a Semester in Display Semester format, e.g. FL2007 and click Retrieve
- All of the divisions with a control record for that semester are returned.
Most fields in the record are editable. Click the Save toolbar icon after making changes.
- Division: The Division for which the control record is being used
- Definition: An ERA definition. Use the ERA Definition to create/manage these.
- Advisor Required:*Y/N A master switch for indicating whether or not a linked advisor is required for registration. Must be set to Yes when students in that division must have a least one active linked advisor in order to register.
- Active:*Y/N A standard “Master Switch” for the control record. Must be set to Yes for the ERA process to be in effect for that division. Set to No to disable ERA for a division.
Note:*Do Not Leave Any Fields Blank when setting up the ERA Control records for a semester. Refer to the most recent prior semester for information on how to set up each division.
Displays
- Start Dt: Set to the last day of 4th week (all divisions)
- End Dt: Set to the third full day of the 3rd week of the following semester (usually a Friday)
Evaluate
- Start Dt: Set to the last day of 4th week (all divisions)
- End Dt: Set to the third full day of the 3rd week of the following semester (usually a Friday)
Load Data
- Start Dt: Set to the last day of 4th week (all divisions)
- End Dt: Set to the third full day of the 3rd week of the following semester (usually a Friday)
Authorization
- End Dt: Set to the third full day of the 3rd week of the following semester (usually a Friday)
