Grade Rules are a list of relationships between Grades, Grade Type, divisions, Grade Options, and Grade Points. The Grade Rule mechanism indicates what grades are valid for a division and what are acceptable grades. It also maintains data for grade presentation for the E-Grades application.
In EGrades: E-Grades uses the Grade Rules information through the list of valid display grades for a student. This is retrieved through the stored procedure.
Valid Grades Chart: A chart of valid grade rules is available through EGrades. This chart is at https://acadinfo.wustl.edu/egs/private/GradeOptions.aspx
