The Session Control table in SISAdmin is used to maintain date controls for the Subsemesters (sessions) and define the relationship of each session to the STCF control record.
A Session is used to indicate a period of time that is smaller than the regular Semester, but is still part of a Semester. In SISAdmin they’re called Sessions, but in WUCRSL the term Subsemester is used. Sessions can, and usually do, vary from semester to semester. Fall and Spring typically have the same sessions, but Summer typically has its own.
