A Session is used to indicate a period of time that is smaller than the regular Semester, but is still part of a Semester. In SISAdmin they’re called Sessions, but in WUCRSL the term Subsemester is used.
This table in SIS Admin is where new sessions are added. Information including a session code (abbreviation), display name and description are entered. The Available flag (yes or no) indicates whether or not a session is current or obsolete. For example, the now defunct Semester Online session is marked as not available.
